Description

Day 1 - Guatemala - Antigua

You will be picked up and transferred to Antigua. You will have a free afternoon so you can roam around Antigua

Overnight: Posada Don Rodrigo

Day 2 - Acatenango

At 9:00 am You will be picked up and transferred to La Aldea La Soledad. You will start your hike up the Volcano to the first camp. There are approximately 5 hours of walking to reach the camp, along the way there will be several stops for rest, hydration, and food.

Overnight: The accommodation in the tents is shared

Day 3 - Acatenango- Antigua

You will wake up at about 4 am to start the ascent to the summit of Acatenango. Once you arrive at the summit of Acatenango you will stay on the summit for the Sunrise view.  At around 8:00 am you will go back to the camp for breakfast and start your descent. Once you arrive at La Aldera la Soledad you will leave for Antigua at around 1:30 pm.

Day 4 - Antigua - Guatemala
Depending on what time your flight leaves you will have time to roam around Antigua, we can also organize tours around Antigua. Later on the day you will be picked up and transferred back to the airport for your flight.
