Day 2 Antigua Cultural Excursion 
We will enjoy a three-hour walking tour of Antigua Guatemala, which includes a visit to La Catedral, Central Plaza, La Merced Church, and La Unión Tank. Then you will be taken to the Airport for your flight to Flores (included) followed by a transfer to your hotel.

Day 3 Yaxhá Archaeological Site 
Visit to the Yaxhá archeological site where we can appreciate the impressive roads and the unique panorama of the Sacnab-Yaxhá lagoons and the jungle. Transfer to your Hotel in Petén.

Day 4 El Mirador
Transfer to Mundo Maya Airport to board the helicopter that will take us to the El Mirador archeological site for a guided tour. The Mirador is one of the largest and oldest Mayan sites in the world, located in the Petenera jungle. Return to flowers and transfer to your hotel.

Day 5 Tikal National Park
Guided tour of the Tikal National Park, declared "Cultural Heritage of Humanity" by UNESCO. This majestic Mayan city is considered one of the largest and most important in the Mayan World. We will enjoy a walking tour of the most important squares, monuments and temples. Upon completion, transfer to the airport for your flight back to Guatemala City.

Day 5 Departure from Guatemala
Transfer to La Aurora International Airport or continue with the extension to the Guatemalan Highlands (Chichicastenango Market or Lake Atitlan).

Privacy Policy

Paseo Vacations Inc. highly recommends clients take out travel insurance for the coverage they may need while traveling.

Reservations:
Reservations will be made with the hotels specified in our itineraries based on availability of the travel dates. They can be substituted by others of a similar category, previously notified.

Payment Policy:
When the trip is confirmed, the payment of the services is required in the following manner:
90 days before the trip: deposit of 50% of the total amount.
60/30 days before the trip: 100% of the full payment must be made in order to confirm all the services requested by the client.
Terms of deposit and payment may vary depending on the season and suppliers; customers will be informed of any exception to this general policy at the time of accepting the proposal. For incentives/specialty reserves, the terms and conditions of group payment will be provided on a case-by-case basis.

Forms of Payment:
Bank Transfer: you will be given the necessary information to make the transfer from your Bank.
Credit Card: you must request this method and will subsequently be sent a link in order to make the payment. You will have a 6% surcharge plus a difference in the local currency exchange rate.
PayPal: payments under one thousand dollars accepted
Cash: upon prior mutual agreement, you may pay a sum in cash before arriving in the country.

Cancellations and No Shows:
Cancellation requests must be sent via e-mail and confirmed by Paseo Vacations. No refund will be issued if confirmation is not presented.
60 days before arrival: customers will be refunded the deposit minus an administrative charge of 10% plus shipping.
30 days before arrival: Customers will be reimbursed the total payment minus the 25% administrative fee, surcharges plus shipping costs.
3 days or less: 100% of the cost of the trip will be charged
For trips in December through January 5, or during Easter: cancellations must be made 60 days in advance, otherwise, they will be penalized 100%
All cancellations MUST be received in writing
Rates are based on group participation and partial refunds will not be given for travel arrangements not used for any reason.
Please note that any refund to a card will incur a charge according to the type of card.

Rates Do Not Include:
The prices of the packages do not include: international airfare, the cost of the passport or visas, vaccines, charges for excess baggage, baggage handling, phone calls, meals not specified in the itinerary, airport and/or departure taxes, local airport fees, personal items, hotel extras, health insurance and/or accident or travel.

Tips:
Tips are appreciated by tour guides, drivers, waiters, porters and hotel staff, but may be given at the client's discretion. Tips are not included in the quoted price.

Visas and Vaccines:
Visa requirements and vaccines vary from country to country. Current information must be obtained from your health department and or the consulate before departure.

Important Note:
Travel arrangements are intended for people in good health. The acceptance of a proposed itinerary, together with the payment made for a confirmed travel itinerary, certifies that the client does not have any health problems or limitations that could limit his/her full participation in the organization of the requested, booked and confirmed trip.

Emergency Procedure:
In case of an emergency (if the client is at the destination and the reservation is lost, the hotel is full, the flight is lost or a tour guide does not show up, etc.), the client should contact the agent who helped with the planning and booking of the itinerary. If the agent is not available, the client should contact Paseo Vacations at +1 (877) 535-1727 or send an e-mail to info@paseovacations.com.
Paseo Vacations is not responsible should the client refuse to board or lose their flights, but will do everything possible to accommodate customers in case of such events.

Change Policies:
Changes to the original reservation may result in additional expenses. All change requests must be made in writing and sent via email to Paseo Vacations.
* There will be a charge of $50.00 per person for any change made 60 days (or later) prior to departure.
* There will be a surcharge of $75.00 per person for any change made 30 to 20 days prior to departure.
* There will be a charge of $100.00 per person for any change made 15 days prior to departure.

Release of Responsibility:
Paseo Vacations Inc. and its partners will not be liable for any injury or damage to any customer or be subject to any claims or demands including without limitation, damages caused by acts of passive or active negligence on the part of Paseo Vacations, its officers or agents. The client expressly releases and discharges Paseo Vacations from all claims, injuries, damages, actions or causes of action. The client acknowledges that he/she has read this paragraph carefully and understands that this is a waiver and release of liability.

If a trip or trip departure is canceled, the tour operator will not have any responsibility beyond the refund of the payment received from the participants of the trip, as established in the cancellation policy. The passenger and/or travel agent or intermediary waive any claim against the company for any damage or loss of property, injury or death of persons due to any act of negligence of any airline, accommodation establishment, car rental company, train company or any other provider of means of transportation (including, but not limited to boats, rafts, hot-air balloons, airships, ferries, cable cars), or any other person (s) providing services and/or accommodations including the portion of air transportation or Terrestrial tour. The operator reserves the right to accept, refuse or detain any person on a tour. If a participant withdraws from a scheduled course there will be refund or reschedule for the participant.

We do not disclose personal data to any third party other than the necessary information related to the organization of the trip.
