Description

Day 1 - Antigua - Acatenango

You will be picked up and transferred to La Aldea La Soledad. You will start your hike up the Volcano to the first camp. There are approximately 5 hours of walking to reach the camp, along the way there will be several stops for rest, hydration, and food.

Overnight: The accommodation in the tents is shared

Day 2 - Acatenango

You will wake up at about 4 am to start of the ascent to the summit of Acatenango, Once you arrive at the summit of Acatenango you will stay on the summit for the Sunrise view.  At around 7:30 am you will go back to the camp for breakfast and start your descent. Once you arrive at La Aldera la Soledad you will leave for Antigua, arriving at around 12:30 pm.

Day 3 and 4 - Antigua

This tour includes 2 nights at Posada de Don Rodrigo, you will have the liberty to roam around Antigua and get to know the culture and what used to be Guatemala´s city. We are also able to program different tours for these days.
